This year’s Friday night activity was a succulent workshop—no experience necessary and all materials provided! Attendees chose from a variety of succulents to plant in an adorable Wilson College ceramic pot to take home.

The Hankey Center for the History of Women’s Education was alive with activity on Saturday as alumnae pored over reunion class materials pulled from the C. Elizabeth Boyd ’33 Archives and admired an exhibit of student research posters highlighting pieces of Wilson’s history. Maxine Wagenhoffer, Ph.D., director of the Center and assistant professor of history, was on hand to answer questions and share how current students incorporate the archival collections into their academic work. The Center welcomed visitors both Friday and Saturday.

On Friday afternoon, our food service partner, SAGE Dining Services, treated re-union attendees to a delightful and interactive wine and food pairing experience. Guests sampled curated combinations while learning how flavors complement and enhance one another.

On Friday morning, Sarah-Jane Flook, coordinator of student engagement and international scholar services, drove a small group of alumnae to Rocky Spring Historic Presbyterian Church to visit the grave of Sarah Wilson. Tour guide Kimberly Baker TIP (Teacher Intern Program) Completer ’01 provided a tour of the grounds and church. In attendance were (l to r) Deborah Gilmore ‘75, Baker, Rebecca Markell ‘96, Flook, and photographer Sandra Huffman ‘86.
